Therapeutic Approach

Marian has worked with people as individuals and groups, across the life cycle. This wide variety of clinical experience in community and hospital settings informs her thinking in her therapeutic work. Marian’s view of therapy is that it is a consultative process where individuals, families and groups find their own unique solutions in openness and collaboration.  She combines her warm, empathic and non-judgemental approach with high level listening which is rooted in a stance of curiosity. Combining these qualities with her strong and broad theoretical grounding means that she is able to provide hugely valuable reflections during consultations . Her reflections are always articulated very clearly and succinctly making them very engaging and easy to understand.
