We are looking for a Couples therapist to join our thriving psychological therapies team in Galway

We are delighted to announce that due to increasing demand an opportunity has arisen for a Couples Therapist to join our team. Suitable candidates will have at least two years experience working with couples and/or have completed a validated couples training. COSRT accredited therapists are encouraged to apply.

The demand for couples work here at EBTC means that you can avail of a full clinical caseload from the outset. In addition, there is a growing demand for psychosexual therapy and this is an area you can develop as part of the role. You will have the benefit of being supervised by our Lead Couples and Psychosexual Therapist, Linsey Blair (COSRT accredited senior therapist and accredited supervisor).  Linsey has a wealth of experience working with couples and psychosexual issues and can provide teaching, supervision and clinical support to develop your skills in these areas. You will be part of the Couples and Psychosexual Team as well as the wider psychological therapies team, meaning you will attend regular team meetings, peer supervision and CPD events.

Evidence Based Therapy Centre is a dynamic multi-disciplinary team including Clinical Psychology, Psychotherapy, Couples therapy, Psychosexual therapy, Women’s and Men’s Health and Physiotherapy. We place a strong emphasis on working collaboratively with clients to understand their difficulties and to develop individualised treatment plans based on their values. Over the past nine years our psychological therapies team has gained a very strong reputation for the high quality therapy that we provide.

All therapists on the team avail of flexible working hours to accommodate a healthy work-life balance. We are open to discussing structuring your working week to fit with your life and are happy for you to have a hybrid model of face-to-face and online working.
